Sit Down. Be Humble.
I’m sitting with a group learning to facilitate meditation. My turn hasn’t even ended and I see it. I want the teacher to recognize my skills. I want to be the best. I want to win. I just have to laugh. It’s like I’ve entered a humility contest. For the bragging rights.
One of the gifts of mindfulness practice is that eventually the mind stops hiding what it’s up to.
Not that it stops doing it.
If this resonates, I’d love to hear from you. A comment, a share, or even just a like goes a long way. Writing into the void is its own practice, but knowing the work lands makes it easier to keep showing up.
