I could never quite relate to all of the books, sermons, dharma talks on anger. I’ve just never been that angry. Sure, I got annoyed and frustrated, sometimes maybe a little righteously angry or just self-righteous. But anger was never a big problem. Until I was reciting a Dalai Lama quote about thinking kind thoughts about and not getting angry at others. And I swapped myself for others. Oh.
If this resonates, I’d love to hear from you. A comment, a share, or even just a like goes a long way. Writing into the silence is its own practice, but knowing the work lands makes it easier to keep showing up.
